This 6-week course introduces mindfulness in a simple, practical way, drawing on the latest research and neuroscience. The course focuses on reducing stress, although participants report a range of other benefits.

In the course, you will learn how to establish a daily mindfulness meditation practice, beginning with a sustainable amount (10 minutes a day) and building from there. I will then teach you how to apply mindfulness in your life to:

  • Improve focus
  • Learn to accept difficult experiences
  • Deal more effectively with emotions
  • Increase focus, memory and productivity
  • Overcome limiting thoughts and beliefs
  • Communicate more mindfully
  • Increase empathy

The course is suitable for people experiencing stress, anxiety or depression, as well as anyone wanting to improve their productivity, relationships and general wellbeing. No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation is necessary, although people with previous experience regularly attend and find it beneficial for integrating mindfulness more fully into their lives.

The course costs $390 which includes a 45-page manual and MP3 mindfulness meditation practices. A rebate of $189.90 is available with a Medicare mental health care plan.

This 6-week course teaches you to take better care of your emotions, communicate and resolve conflict more effectively, and be more compassionate to yourself and others.

  • Develop self compassion and emotional resilience
  • Increase self awareness
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Resolve conflict
  • Develop lovingkindness (unconditional friendliness) and compassion

The course is suitable for everybody. No prior experience with mindfulness or meditation is necessary, although people with previous experience regularly attend and find it beneficial for integrating mindfulness more fully into their lives.

This innovative five week program supports students in developing a regular mindfulness practice and then teaches them how to apply mindfulness to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Enhance concentration and memory
  • Increase motivation
  • Overcome procrastination
  • Communicate more effectively
  • Be gentler with themselves (while simultaneously increasing productivity)
  • Maximise learning

Other programs teach basic mindfulness techniques and then leave it up to you to figure out how to apply it to your studies. The Mindful Learning program explicitly teaches you how to apply mindfulness principles to improve your performance.

This program is particularly useful for high school and tertiary students who are experiencing academic difficulties, as well as those seeking a competitive edge.
